Our Story:

Sam loved bringing people together for fun and celebration since he was young.  When he was 16 years old, he started a swing dancing club in Farmington MI.  It didn't take long for him to start playing music and grad parties and birthday parties.  In 2009 he DJ'd a wedding for the first time and began to turn his hobby into a business.

In 2013 he named the business Epic Events.

Leslie began dancing when she was 5 years old and never stopped.  She was a accomplished ballerina when she began swing dancing in 2008.  She met Sam then, but was far from falling in love.  Five years later, in 2013, she began her own swing dancing club in Howell MI.  Sam started attending her club in 2014 and after noticing her skill as a DJ, dance teacher, and event planner, he hired her near the end of 2014.

In early 2015 they launched a brand for weddings only, Radiant Receptions, and fell in love.  In June of 2016 they got married and continue to help people make their events epic.
